During this trip, so many memories were made, and so many laughs were shared. In Albania, when we were doing crafts with the kids, just seeing all the creativity in how they expressed themselves was such a blessing. Being able to connect with the missionaries there and hearing how Jesus is working in their lives was inspiring. All of the kids that we met are so kind, and they have the light of Jesus shining in them, and I can’t wait to see where it takes them.

This mission trip to Uganda was full of moments that had my teammates and me smiling from ear to ear and praising the Lord daily. These moments showed us God's nearness, His compassion, and how much He loves His children.

Day 1
Today has been a long day. We started our day meeting on campus at 3:30am and finally wrapped up the day with a team devo at 9:30pm at our hotel.
Today's travel consisted of two plane rides, each around 2 hours long or more, and then a 6-hour car ride from the airport to the hotel. Within the chaos of travel, there were some highlights our team enjoyed.

Going into this trip, I was nervous...not necessarily about traveling or serving, but about how much of a difference our team would actually be able to make. With only three students and three leaders, our team was much smaller than we expected. It was hard not to wonder if that would limit our impact. It’s easy to believe that impact requires something big...big teams, big plans, or big moments. But over the course of the week, God showed us something completely different. He doesn’t need large numbers to move in big ways.
