  • Stories from Baja (Med) Spring Break 2023

              We had a very successful trip with the Lipscomb BajaMed team from March 9 - 18, 2023. Our team of 30 included medical providers, a pharmacist, support staff, pre-professional undergraduate students, nursing students, and graduate students in pharmacy. Throughout the week, we were able to provide medical, dental and vision care for 542 patients.

  • Ecuador Spring Break 2023 - Ava Decker's Story

    March 24, 2023

    My team of 12 Lipscomb students and 2 leaders left for Tabacundo, Ecuador on March 10, 2023. We were traveling to the Hacienda of Hope, which is a home for kids who have been placed there by the Ecuadorian CPS. We woke up early and traveled by car, plane, and bus all day until we arrived at the Hacienda of Hope on that Friday night. The next morning, our hosts took us to the marketplace in Otavalo – one of the biggest open markets in the world. This was really cool to experience, and we were all very grateful that our hosts could take the time out of their day to show us around.

  • Announcing the Vultee Student Missions Endowment Fund

    In the years following the second World War, a few returning servicemen and their families began to meet on Sundays in the old army barracks alongside the airstrip at Nashville's Berry Field. This church did not have an official building or name. They were  Christians called to relationship and worship.
