Master of Accounting (MAcc) and CPA Licensure Pathways
Lipscomb’s Master of Accounting program is built to equip students for success in one of the nation’s most in-demand fields. With a curriculum aligned to the CPA exam, our MAcc graduates boast a first-time CPA exam pass rate that exceeds the national average.
Students benefit from:
- Small class sizes that foster mentorship and professional relationships.
- Optional full-time internships during the height of tax season.
- Access to mentorship through the Executives and Partners in Residence program.
For professionals needing CPA eligibility, Lipscomb offers:
- Graduate Certificate of Accountancy for Professionals (GCAP): Complete specific academic courses to earn up to 12 hours of accounting credits required for licensure.
- MBA/CPA Program: A combined curriculum that merges 18 hours of MBA coursework with 18 hours of MAcc courses, building both leadership and technical expertise.
Additionally, the Accounting Boot Camp prepares students with essential skills to transition into accounting or begin the MAcc program.
Analytics Certificate Program
Data is the lifeblood of business decisions, and Lipscomb’s analytics certificate positions graduates at the forefront of this high-growth field, expected to expand by 23% over the next decade.
Students will:

Master of Health Administration (MHA)

Master of Business Administration (MBA) In-Person
Lipscomb’s in-person MBA program provides a comprehensive foundation in leadership and strategic decision-making while offering customizable pathways to meet your career goals.
This MBA program is offered at our main campus located in Nashville, Tennessee. The in-person MBA may be completed in 22 months or through an 11-month Fast Track. Concentration courses are typically offered online throughout the year. An international business trip is also optional for all students in the MBA program. Entry points are offered each year in June and August.
The MBA program was designed for students with a broad range of career goals to pursue their ideal pathway. To equip aspiring individuals with the necessary skills, multiple degree options are available:
- Fast Track with Directed Work Experience
- Four concentration areas: analytics, finance, human resources, supply chain management
- MBA with CPA licensure
- MBA/sustainability dual degree

Master of Business Administration (MBA) Online
Lipscomb’s online MBA program enables students to advance their careers in business leadership by keeping pace with innovation and market demands, while prioritizing a people-first approach. Key features include:
- Flexible entry terms in August, October, January and March.
- Online courses are completed asynchronously, allowing students to earn their MBA on their schedule—balancing family, work and education.
- The program may be completed in as little as 12 months or take additional time to create your optimal work/life balance.
In addition to the flexibility of online learning, students in the online MBA will also have access to optional in-person, co-curricular professional development and networking opportunities and an optional international business trip.
