Program Overview

Earn your MBA online with flexibility and purpose.

You’re ready to lead, to innovate and to make a meaningful impact. Lipscomb University’s online MBA program enables you to advance your career in business leadership by keeping pace with innovation and market demands, while prioritizing a people-first approach. Gain a deep understanding of how leadership decisions create value and impact within an organization—driving long-term success and sustainable business growth.

Start your MBA program with flexible entry terms available in August, October, January and March. Our online courses are completed asynchronously, allowing you to earn your MBA on your schedule—balancing family, work and education. You can complete the program in as little as 12 months or take additional time to create your optimal work/life balance.

In addition to the flexibility of online learning, students in the online MBA will also have access to optional in-person, co-curricular professional development and networking opportunities, and an optional international business trip. And when you graduate, you can take part in a memorable day of festivities with an in-person graduation ceremony on our main campus in Nashville, Tennessee.

Our graduates earn both professional and financial success, and they do so by purposefully aligning business with their values and virtues in the community. They build companies that engage and grow. They support people who collaborate and inspire. They create a new business world where a difference made is a job well done. We focus on doing business the right way. And the Pfeffer Graduate School of Business graduates students who support this commitment and mission every day.

Online MBA Program Outcomes

Our online MBA is an AACSB-accredited program that will help you continue cultivating key business proficiencies in strategic decision-making and program solving, finance and operations and international business leadership. Before the program ends, you will excel in business acumen, leadership and confidence. Your ability to understand your value to an organization and how leadership decisions create impact ensures a strong foundation for furthering your career.

We developed the MBA curriculum by asking two questions:AACSB

  • What do the most effective professionals do well?
  • What do employers expect from MBA graduates?

After analyzing national employer survey data, interviews with an advisory board and market research results, a few themes emerged. First, the best professionals have the ability to inspire others, they have strategic vision and they have drive and integrity. Second, the best professionals have strong quantitative skills, business knowledge and technology skills.

Our curriculum will teach you how to increase the effectiveness of your leadership, make strategic decisions and build a competitive advantage for your company.

Why Earn Your MBA Degree at Lipscomb University?
