Academics know that notoriety in research is usually long in coming.
Scientific research projects take years to complete and academia reserves its journal space for only the best of peer work. So, it is rare, if ever, that students ever get to see their name in print for work done in their undergraduate years.
This year at Lipscomb, however, there are at least 45 students who have either been published or have done publishable work soon to be submitted in both the humanities and science.
From philosophy to biology, from chemistry to poetry and political science, Lipscomb students have partnered with faculty and taken advantage of opportunities to submit their work, resulting in published work in various fields.
