As Lipscomb seeks to be an academic institution where diversity, inclusion and cultural competency are intentionally woven into all aspects of the community, we are pleased to launch this first edition of an electronic newsletter created as part of the 2020-21 Respect Leads initiatives. Now in its fifth year, Respect Leads is a holistic effort to promote a culture of respectfulness in all quadrants of the university.
This e-newsletter will be published twice in the academic year and will be filled with news, information and stories about the diversity and inclusion that is part of the rich fabric of the Lipscomb community. It will be supplemented by an annual report published each summer.
I hope you will enjoy reading these stories, will share them with others and will commit to walking with us on this important journey. It is our collective effort to create honest, gracious and respectful relationships that will make us a truly Christian university.
