This week has definitely been one filled with activity beginning with the visit by President George W. Bush for the Imagine event Monday evening. And things are about to get even busier!

The 52nd annual presentation of Singarama—“Revolution-Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness”—is set to begin tomorrow night, AND, with an upset win in overtime in the first round of the Atlantic Sun Conference tournament, the men’s basketball team has earned a trip to come back home to play a semifinal game in Allen Arena! Tomorrow will be an exciting day on campus.

The even better news? Singarama and Bison fans will have an opportunity to support BOTH of these events Thursday night! Tip-off for the men’s basketball game against Stetson is set for 6 p.m. The start time for Singarama has been moved to 8 p.m. to give students who are participating in Singarama as well as those planning on attending the Thursday evening performance an opportunity to cheer on the Bisons. It also gives those who are attending the basketball game an opportunity to head over to Collins Alumni Auditorium following the game to watch the hundreds of students who have been planning and rehearsing for weeks showcase their creative talents.

We encourage students, faculty, staff, parents, alumni and friends to spend tomorrow (Thursday) evening at Lipscomb to support our students and to show appreciation for their hard work and the excellent way they represent this university.

And don’t forget to cheer on the women’s basketball team who will open its Atlantic Sun Conference tournament action on Friday night in Jacksonville beginning at 5 p.m. CST! Watch the game live on ESPN3.

This is an exciting week for the Lipscomb community. Thank you for your support of all of our students!
