Switzerland trip offers business students unique global perspective

 |

Business happens on a global scale. And that is what students are learning as they travel to Europe to get a distinctive point of view on global business.

The College of Business is broadening its offerings by taking around 40 students to Switzerland this summer. The purpose: to give students a unique perspective on business that they would never be able to learn inside a classroom.
The students will be traveling around Switzerland visiting different sites and companies to give them a look on the European and global business model.
Professors hope that students will take from this course awareness of global business, understanding of biblical faith in international business, familiarization of global environmental forces, development of sensitivity to cultural differences across countries and markets, understanding of key international market entry and trading concepts, and identification of the main issues for operating a functional business in an international setting.
