Summer Celebration sees rise in pre-registration numbers

Chris Pepple |

As Lipscomb University prepares to welcome a large number of visitors to campus for Summer Celebration, an annual festival of faith and fellowship, organizers announced an increase in pre-registration for the event, for on-campus housing and for the children’s program.

“Over 1,000 people have pre-registered for Summer Celebration next week. Over half of those preregistered are staying in on-campus housing. On-campus housing reservations are up 50% over last year, and children’s program pre-registrations are up over 20% compared to last year. This is a wonderful opportunity to bring together families on our campus,” said Robert King, Summer Celebration’s assistant director and fine arts director for the campus school.

“I look forward to Summer Celebration and the opportunity to study and worship with Christians from Middle Tennessee and across the nation. Rhonda and I welcome everyone to the Lipscomb campus and pray that this celebration will be a meaningful time in your life,” said L. Randolph Lowry, president of Lipscomb University.

Summer Celebration, being held on campus July 1-3, offers full and exciting programs for children and teenagers that include devotionals, classes, games, and service projects and offers more than one hundred practical and inspiring sessions for adults.
Highlights include:
