Ginger Saunders has been named the coordinator of missions and community service for the College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences.
While Saunders will continue with many of the administrative responsibilities she carried out as program coordinator, she will also be responsible for the mission and community service endeavors for the college.
“Ginger’s experience with undergraduate missions and her passion for serving others will be a great benefit to the college as it continues in the development of a quality mission and community service interprofessional program,” said Roger Davis, dean and vice provost for health affairs.
Saunders earned a degree in psychology from Lipscomb in 1979. She started with the College of Pharmacy in May of 2008 as the administrative assistant to the dean of the college. In 2013 she transitioned into the role of program coordinator handling pharmacy events and assisting the academic dean with student scheduling.
Before coming to Lipscomb, she worked as an executive assistant for Youth Encouragement Services, a Nashville after-school enrichment program. While at YES, she helped coordinate several annual events that benefit the children of Nashville.
