 |

Project InSECT will be in the student center through Thursday, March 16 with a performance art painting demonstration. The demonstration is of an insect and is part of the group’s touring displays of endangered or misunderstood insects.

Project Insect is a traveling art and science exhibition brought to you by James and Jessa Huebing-Reitinger. It is their mission to educate the public on the science of entomology and conservation through the medium of performing visual arts. The Project is hosted by science museums, zoos and art museums and supported educationally by entomologists and their research. The group also dedicates its energy and resources to local outreach programs, libraries, and teachers to help them utilize this new wave of creative education, according to the projectinsect.com website.
