President Lowry serves tenure on ACU Board of Trustees

 |

Dr. Randy Lowry, Lipscomb University's newly elected President, was named to ACU's Board of Trustees in the spring.  Lowry made the most of his few days on ACU's campus and on the board, though he resigned from the position just days after his first official meetings as a board member as a result of his new position at Lipscomb.

While at ACU, Lowry spoke to ACU president Dr. Royce Money about continued cooperation and partnership between ACU and Lipscomb.  ACU is also a Church-of-Christ affiliated school.

As a symbol of that commitment, Lowry presented Money with a framed photo of Lipscomb's Bell Tower.

Lowry, who is founder of the nationally-recognized Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution and professor of law at Pepperdine University in Malibu, Calif., will take office as Lipscomb president on Nov. 1.
