“It’s always exciting when you see your name posted on national television,” said Lipscomb director of golf Will Brewer. “Today’s a historic day in our program. Any time you do something for the first time it is pretty remarkable.”

The team learned of its at-large berth on Thursday morning live on the Golf Channel as the field was announced live on television. The Bisons will take on host Alabama, No. 3 Georgia, No. 12 Auburn, No. 14 South Carolina, UNLV, Kentucky, Kansas, Charleston, Charleston Southern, Colorado, Harvard and Southern Illinois at the Ol’ Colony Golf Course.
