Marketing Professor Meets With Government Officials in Cuba During Spring Break

Marketing Professor Randy Steger, chairman and president of Healing Hands International, visited Cuba to speak with government officials over spring break.  Dr. Steger traveled to Cuba with United States government permission to meet with three different Cuban government groups.  These meetings were part of Dr. Steger's efforts to oversee humanitarian aid, consisting of medical and school supplies, which Healing Hands International provides to Cuba.

While in Cuba, Dr. Steger also had the opportunity to speak at the Annual Church of Christ Preacher/Elder Leadership Workshop with approximately 300 Cuban church leaders in attendance.  This conference is permitted to take place because of the good relationship  that has been established between Cuba and Healing Hands International as a result of the humanitarian aid they provide.
