Make a difference for one MBA student with your online vote

Admitted graduate students in the College of Business were given the opportunity this year to compete for a full-tuition scholarship for the MBA program, and you have the power to choose which one gets to make a dream come true.
In the One Degree Away from Making a Difference Video Scholarship Competition, new students submitted two-minute videos illustrating a compelling personal story about how they are one academic degree away from making a difference, and how a graduate business degree from Lipscomb University will impact their lives and the lives of others.
Six finalists were selected and now you can make a difference for one of these students by logging on to http://www.lipscomb.edu/gsb/GSB-Voting and voting for one of their videos. You can vote once a day for your favorite video, and the student with the most votes wins a scholarship valued at $40,248.
The student finalists are:
| Eddie Ansty is a Lipscomb graduate who spent 10 years working as a missionary and a consultant building global partnerships to serve needy communities. |

| Jason Biddle, who works at A Better Nest, a company that provides aging-in-place solutions for homeowners in Middle Tennessee, wants to earn his MBA to become a consultant in the health care field. |

| Corey Haney went to Africa in 2010 and returned with a mission to start his own nonprofit working to make a difference by potentially assisting orphans, building water wells or fighting to end sex slavery. |

| Ryan Hirsch created an animated video that outlines how an MBA from Lipscomb would provide him the skills to be an effective leader in his city, nation and the world. |
 |
| Steve Morrow is a board member with The Well, a nonprofit coffee shop benefiting the underprivileged around the world. He wants to spread the retail concept across the nation, with profits working to eradicate poverty and injustice. |
 |
| Katy Sheesley is a civil engineer who is accredited in sustainable design and works in the local construction industry. She wants to lead her company to be more sustainable and to keep the world as beautiful in the future as it is today. |
