Lipscomb website adds Online Giving

Supporters of Lipscomb University and its programs now have a new, easy way to make donations.
The university’s Advancement website now encourages gifts to be made by credit card, said Joe Ivey, vice president for Advancement.
“Donors across the country are looking for the simplest and most secure ways to make their gifts, and an increasing number are choosing to give by credit card. It’s easy and very secure,” Ivey said.
Persons wishing to give online should visit the Advancement site and select “Give Today!,” which leads them to a two-step process. The first is to fill out a brief form that allows the donor to put in the size gift and how it is to be used, with identifying information that lets the university know how to credit the gift.
After submitting the form, the donor is asked to enter the appropriate credit card information.
“We are grateful to have a very broad base of supporters who love our unique approach to Christian education. Lipscomb University is a Christian community of scholars dedicated to learning, leading and serving, preparing students for excellence today, tomorrow and forever.
“We are pleased to offer this new service to those who make it possible to fulfill our mission, which is to integrate Christian faith and practice with academic excellence,” Ivey said.
The Advancement website also offers gift forms for those who wish to download and send them by mail. It also includes other information about a variety of giving methods and opportunities.
