Lipscomb University Landiss Lecture Series Presents Tony Earley on Jan. 24

The Lipscomb University Landiss Lecture Series presents author Tony Earley on Jan. 24 at 7:30 p.m. in Room 108 of the Swang Center, 3901 Granny White Pike, Nashville.


Admission is free. The lecture is open to the public and everyone is invited to attend.


Earley will discuss his latest book which is a collection of personal essays titled Somehow Form a Family. He was selected by Granta as one of today’s best young writers and the New York Times called his first novel, Jim the Boy "a radiant, knowing, pitch-perfect parable of childhood." He is also the author of a collection of short stories, Here We are in Paradise. Earley, a native of North Carolina, teaches creative writing at Vanderbilt.
