Lipscomb University hosts the Exaudi Choir of Magdeburg Germany Oct. 6 at 7:30 p.m. in Alumni Auditorium, located at 3901 Granny White Pike, Nashville.

Admission is free. The performance is open to the public, and everyone is invited to attend.

Nashville and the city of Magdeburg, Germany, began a partnership as sister-cities this past May. The Exaudi Choir is performing in Nashville as a result of this partnership. The choir will participate in a number of events while in town.

The Exaudi Choir consists of more than 50 singers ranging in age from 15-70. They will perform "Songs from the Old World" and will be joined by Lipscomb's A Cappella Singers for the song "Locus iste" by Anton Bruckner.

"We are excited about the opportunity to share the stage with this professional choir," said Larry Griffith, professor of music and director of the A Cappella Singers.
