Lipscomb ranked the No. 13 Christian college in the nation by Niche

Lipscomb University has been named one of the top Christian universities in the nation according to the 2026 Niche Ranking.
Lipscomb is ranked the #13 Best Christian College in America by Niche for the second consecutive year. This year’s ranking evaluated 513 Christian colleges and universities across the country and is based on a rigorous analysis of key statistics and student reviews using data from the U.S. Department of Education. Lipscomb University received “A” grades in several areas, including academic quality, campus quality, student life and safety. Joining Lipscomb among the top 15 universities in the nation are Texas Christian University, Southern Methodist University, Wheaton College and Baylor University.

The Best Christian Colleges ranking provides a comprehensive assessment of the overall experience at traditional, four-year Christian-affiliated colleges and universities in the United States. It is based on rigorous analysis of academic quality, which accounted for 40 percent of the score, as well as admissions, financial and student life data from the U.S. Department of Education along with millions of reviews from students and alumni. The list excludes Catholic colleges and universities.
In addition to being ranked one of the top Christian colleges in the country, Lipscomb also received a number of other top rankings in a variety of categories in the 2026 report. Other key rankings include: #2 Best Colleges for Business in Tennessee, #2 Best Christian College in Tennessee, #2 Best College in the Nashville Area, #3 Best Colleges for Student Athletes in Tennessee, #4 Top Private University in Tennessee and #4 Best College Athletics in Tennessee.
This ranking continues an exciting school year at Lipscomb. This fall, Lipscomb continued to break enrollment records with its largest first-day total enrollment and the largest class of first-time freshmen in school history for the third consecutive year in addition to it’s largest total enrollment in university history with over 4,900 students. Last month, Lipscomb’s College of Education was recognized as one of Tennessee’s most effective teacher and leader preparation programs for the 14th consecutive year based on Tennessee State Board of Education’s Educator Preparation Report Card data. In addition, in February two Lipscomb students were named semi-finalists for the prestigious Fulbright U.S. Student Program, placing them among a highly competitive group of applicants nationwide. Lipscomb was also recently named a 2026 Best College by Forbes and received a four-star rating by Money.
