The center is located between Allen Arena and the Bell Tower, in the former music department offices. |
- Career Focus Hour, 9-10 a.m.
- Lipscomb has pulled from its strong Middle Tennessee alumni and friends network to have local career and human resource professionals on-hand to offer industry-specific resources, resume review and career advice.
- Chat with an Executive, 10-11 a.m.
- With more than 14,000 alumni in the Middle Tennessee area, Lipscomb has a deep pool of professional industry resources to offer their advice and networking contacts to local job seekers.
- Renew Your Spirit, 11:15 a.m.
- Job-hunters not only need career resources, but spiritual resources as well. The Resource Center will offer a 15-minute devotional led by Lipscomb spiritual leaders and ministers from the community.
- Professional Resources
- The Lipscomb Professional Resource Center provides private space in an office environment for computer and Internet use, which can keep job-hunters more focused and on task.
- The Center will provide copies of John Miller’s Job Search Scoring System, emphasizing the job-search activities found to be most productive and empowering you with a measurable goal to keep you actively engaged in your search for a longer duration.

Melissa Lowry will be the director of the Reclaim Tomorrow program. Lowry has worked at the MBA Career Management Center at Southern Methodist University as well as at American Airlines as marketing manager. The need for additional career resources in this challenging time for the unemployed was clear, she said.
