Lipscomb one of top Christian colleges in the nation
Lipscomb's excellence once again recognized nationally as the university climbs in Niche rankings.

Lipscomb University has been named one of the top Christian universities in the nation according to a newly released 2024 Niche Ranking.
Lipscomb is ranked the #12 Best Christian College in America by Niche. This year’s ranking evaluated 333 Christian colleges and universities across the country and is based on a rigorous analysis of key statistics and student reviews using data from the U.S. Department of Education. Lipscomb moved up two spots from the 2023 ranking. Lipscomb University received “A” grades in several areas including academic quality, diversity, athletics program and campus quality.
The Best Christian Colleges ranking provides a comprehensive assessment of the overall experience at traditional, four-year Christian-affiliated colleges and universities in the United States. It is based on rigorous analysis of academic quality, which accounted for 40 percent of the score, as well as admissions, financial, and student life data from the U.S. Department of Education along with millions of reviews from students and alumni. List excludes Catholic colleges and universities.
In addition to being ranked one of the top Christian colleges in the country, Lipscomb also received a number of other top rankings in a variety of categories in the 2024 report. Other key rankings include: #1 Best Colleges for Business in Tennessee, #2 Best Christian College in Tennessee, #2 Best College in the Nashville Area, #3 Best Colleges for Accounting and Finance in Tennessee, #3 Best College in Tennessee, #3 Top Private University in Tennessee, #3 Best Colleges for Biology in Tennessee and #4 Best Colleges for Student Athletes in Tennessee.
This ranking continues the exciting start to the fall semester at Lipscomb. This fall Lipscomb continued to break enrollment records with its largest class of first-time freshmen in school history with over 700 new first-time freshman students joining the Bison Herd. In addition the university is celebrating its best freshman-to-sophomore retention rate ever recorded at Lipscomb
