On April 28, President and Mrs. L. Randolph Lowry held a special event for all those in the Lipscomb family who also consider themselves residents of Lake Wobegon. Lipscomb University was a national sponsorship for a special live broadcast of "A Prairie Home Companion with Garrison Keillor" from Nashville's historic Ryman Auditorium on Saturday, April 28.

Those who attended not only got to see a sold-out performance of a great show, but they also got to meet famed host Keillor at a post-show reception. Attendees were excited to get the show's official Hatch Show Print poster signed by the taciturn host, famous for his dry wit and eccentric charm.

The performance featured special guests, big-time country artist and singer of American folk songs, Suzy Bogguss, Certified Guitar Player Steve Wariner, Music City stalwart Chuck Mead and His Grassy Knoll Boys, and good friends Robin and Linda Williams. Plus, the Royal Academy of Radio Actors; Tim Russell, Sue Scott, and Fred Newman, The Guy's All-Star Shoe Band, and the latest News from Lake Wobegon.
