As we continue to monitor the impact of the winter storm on campus, we have contingency plans in place to ensure the wellbeing and comfort of our students. We appreciate the patience of our students and the tireless work of our employees to make it through this situation together.

We will continue to monitor the impact of this winter storm on campus activities and operations and send updates as needed throughout the weekend. Please use caution and discretion today as you move about campus. Driving conditions around the region are hazardous and are expected to so through the next 24 hours or more. The Student Activities Center, the Ezell Center, Bennett Campus Center and Swang Center are among the facilities that will be open on campus for students to access during this time. It is also suggested with the amount of ice that may accumulate over the next few hours that you remember to keep your essential electronic devices plugged in to keep a charge.

Campus services will be working throughout the day to clear sidewalks and building entrances, but everyone on campus is encouraged to please be cautious and stay on the walkways that have been cleared.

We will send an update at 10 a.m.

Be safe!
