IMPACT 2012 destined to impact the lives of thousands of teens June 15-23

IMPACT, June 15-23, is a summer faith camp at Lipscomb providing an atmosphere for teens that enables them to develop a personal faith and impact their world for Christ. IMPACT Senior is for 9th-12th graders and IMPACT Junior is for 6th-8th graders.

The main focus of IMPACT is Christ. Whether it is through prayer, praise, classes or the messages of the speakers, IMPACT week has been one that teens cherish.

It began in 1992 with 250 campers, counselors, and adults coming together to worship.

The IMPACT theme is always a mystery till the curtain opens. The theme is developed with varied emphasis on different elements of Christian faith from evangelism and textual studies to spiritual development.

In addition to classes, speakers and worship, campers will enjoy Morning Impact, which has become the comic break of the day, featuring Mr. T’s storytime, mosh beach ball races, the Blend-O-Matic challenge and the Flannel Board Theater. There is also a coffee house, where Christian musicians perform in an intimate environment, and campers can socialize at their leisure.

Traditionally, IMPACT campers also carry out a service project to benefit the members of the Nashville community.
