Homecoming set for Feb. 3-5

Lipscomb University Homecoming 2005 activities are set for Feb. 3-5 on the campus, located 3901 Granny White Pike, Nashville. 

A variety of activities is planned for alumni of all ages during the Homecoming celebration. Among this year's highlights are class reunions, a 5-K fun run, a reunion brunch, a Homecoming Awards dinner, social club reunions, basketball games, inflatable games for young children, and an A Cappella Singers performance. 

Other highlights include: 

--Corrections Corporation of America presents Diamond Rio in concert. Feb. 4, 8 p.m., Collins Alumni Auditorium. Tickets are $20 and $30 and may be purchased by calling 615.279.7075. 

--"You Can't Take It With You," Homecoming dinner theater presentation. Feb. 3-5, 6 p.m., Shamblin Theatre. Tickets are $20 per person (includes meal and play). 

--Bison Homecoming Science Circus. Feb. 5, noon, McFarland Science Building. Free. The College of Natural and Applied Sciences presents this exciting and informative event that will feature amazing science-related acts starring Lipscomb science and engineering faculty and students.

--"Relics of Rock & Roll: Alive and Kicking!" The Alumni Brothers Band. Feb. 5, 8 p.m., Collins Alumni Auditorium. Suggested donation: $5. Relive the excitement of music from Lipscomb's past with this exciting alumni band. All proceeds from this concert will benefit the Lipscomb University Campus Ministry and Student Mission programs.
