Homecoming 2008 brings alums back for Battle of the Boulevard

Homecoming 2008 is set for January 12 with a day of fun and festivities planned to help you reconnect with fellows students, faculty and staff members. Highlights will include the Battle of the Boulevard with both Bisons and Lady Bisons vs. Belmont Bruins; a special alumni reception between the games; coronation of the Homecoming Queen; reunions for the classes of 1982-83 and 1997-98 and much more.

“We are really thrilled to bring alumni back on campus for homecoming,” said Amy Hamar, alumni relations manager. “The excitement generated by the Battle of the Boulevard will bring back fond memories for our alum. Plus, the reception between games will be in McQuiddy Gym, a place that holds a lot of great memories for many people. I think our alumni will be excited to see the changes going on around campus, too. Homecoming is about connecting with the Lipscomb campus, with friends made during your college years and with faculty and staff that influenced you during your studies here.”
