Preparing for the holidays just got a little easier thanks to Pi Kappa Sigma, the Lipscomb women’s service club.
The organization recently announced its holiday gift-wrapping service project. Every Tuesday and Thursday in December, from 4-6 p.m., members of Pi Kappa Sigma will be in the lobby of the Swang Business Center wrapping gifts.
Holiday shoppers may drop off their packages and enjoy a break from the hustle-and-bustle of the season, and then come back and pick up their beautifully wrapped gifts ready to put under the Christmas tree.
“The goal is to offer a gift wrapping service to individuals, assisting them in their holiday festivities, while raising funds that will help us serve others,” said Hannah Grimes, president of Pi Kappa Sigma.
The cost for wrapping services is 50 cents for small packages and a dollar for large items. All proceeds go toward serving Ronald McDonald House, Room In The Inn, and WorldVision among other community outreach programs.
