Greetings from the Department of Nutrition and Kinesiology

Very soon we will return to being two departments again: the Department of Nutrition and the Department of Kinesiology.

I hope this newsletter finds you well, and that you will enjoy this update from the department, as well as from the college as a whole.

Our alumni are doing fantastic things, and then giving back to our current students by offering internship placements, shadowing and job opportunities, research opportunities and service-learning opportunities.

As we bring you up to date on our work both on and off campus, know how grateful we are for you, and for what you do for our Nutrition and Kinesiology majors at Lipscomb. Your work has paved the way for our students, both current and future, and continues to develop our reputation in the community as compassionate citizens, bringing Christ's love in a wide variety of ways to a world that desperately needs it.

Very soon we will return to being two departments again: the Department of Nutrition and the Department of Kinesiology. I know that was the structure when many of you were here, and we hope it will allow us to devote more specialized energy to each area as we educate the nutrition and exercise professionals of the future.

We strive daily to carry on your legacy, and are grateful for the shoulders on which we stand! I hope you will enjoy seeing pictures of our campus and laboratories, and enjoy a snapshot of our students' world right now. May our conversations be full of grace and seasoned with salt!

Have a delicious day,

Autumn Marshall
