Franklin American Mortgage CEO featured at business breakfast

Daniel G. Crockett, president and CEO of Franklin American Mortgage Company, will speak on “Unraveling the Mortgage Mess: How It Impacts Nashville’s Economy” at the next Nashville Business Breakfast, 7 a.m., Friday, May 9, in Lipscomb University’s Allen Arena, sponsored by Lipscomb and the Nashville Business Journal.

Crockett purchased Franklin American, a Franklin-based mortgage lender, in 1994 and under his leadership it has grown from a small brokerage to one of the top 25 mortgage bankers in the nation, with annual sales volume expected to exceed more than $15 billion in 2008.

Crockett sits on the Residential Board of Governors for the National Mortgage Bankers Association and is a member of the Tennessee National Association of Mortgage Bankers and the Tennessee Mortgage Bankers Association.

Franklin America that has been named one of the fastest-growing businesses in Middle Tennessee by Business Nashville Magazine, and it is a recipient of the Nashville Chamber of Commerce and The Tennessean Music City Future 50 Award.
