Greyhounds, banjo players and an award-winning eye surgeon were just a few of the sights to be seen at Expo50, a trade show for those over 50 years old, held by Lipscomb University and Mature Lifestyles Magazine on Tuesday, Sept. 22.

Fifty-six vendors from the fields of health care, travel, home skilled care, lifelong education, insurance, home construction, senior living and more congregated in Allen Arena to provide a wealth of useful information for boomers, seniors and caregivers all in one location.

The aging generations have become more than a health care concern, they have become a force to reckon with in every aspect of society from the nation’s economy, to business marketing; from home development to legal trends. Expo50 included all those aspects and more.
