Exclusive interview with Billy Collins, former U.S. Poet Laureate, CSC keynote speaker June '09

In the days leading up to the Christian Scholars Conference held at Lipscomb University in June 2009, Lipscomb alumni and local young poet and editor Andrew Krinks interviewed Billy Collins, the former U.S. Poet Laureate and one of the most popular and best-selling poets today, for Lipscomb University.

 

Collins spoke as a keynote speaker at the conference, and appeared on a panel along with Krinks and John Struloeff of Pepperdine University to discuss “The Function of Poetry at the Present Time.” The panel was moderated by Lipscomb professor of English Kimberly Reed.
