Lipscomb University’s production of Enchanted Attic is the only place where children can see a cat transform before their eyes, a marionette come to life and go searching for lost treasure with pirates.

Enchanted Attic will be performed Feb.12 at 6 p.m., Feb. 13 at 7 p.m., and Feb. 14, at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. in Willard Collins Alumni Auditorium, on the Lipscomb campus in Nashville. Tickets are $5.

Enchanted Attic is the story of three children who find themselves stranded in the attic of their great aunt’s Victorian mansion one day while searching for lost treasure. They soon discover that the attic window has mysterious powers of transformation. Join us as we present a story full of non-stop action and adventure, where we find that the lost treasure is the ability to believe.

Enchanted Attic is the largest children’s production at Lipscomb to date, and is being performed in Collins Auditorium for the first time.

The cast includes nine Lipscomb students, and there are two student directors.

Theater teacher Deb Holloway has staged children’s plays that have toured various local schools, hospitals and day care centers in Nashville for many years. In the last two years she has taken two children’s plays on mission tours to Wales. In late spring, she will be directing another children’s play for Lipscomb, an original play titled Wolf Calls and Pig Tales.
