College of Professional Studies hosts Crucial Conversations: Catalyzing Change on Oct. 26

Driving_350Lipscomb University’s College of Professional Studies hosts its Driving Innovation 2017 conversation series, Catalyzing Change, on Thursday, Oct. 26 from 7:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. in the Ezell Center, Room 147.

Gregory Scott, senior vice chancellor for business and operations for the University of Pittsburgh, and Amanda Blanck, managing partner at Deviate LLC, are the featured speakers and will share their stories about how transformational conversations like performance coaching relationships have advanced their careers and enriched their lives. They will also address the topics of diversity, global competency, strategic conversations and performance coaching.

Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in breakout sessions led  by some of Nashville’s leading experts on those topics who include Lindsey Harris and  Tim Pierce.

The event is an opportunity for business and academic leaders to share their ideas on how to use thoughtful and targeted conversations as a way to produce dramatic results in our careers and in our lives.

Lipscomb University's College of Professional Studies seeks to facilitate deeper dialogue between Nashville area employers and area colleges and universities on topics of mutual interest, including 21st century workplace skills, micro-credentials, diversity and global competency, competency-based education and the course/credit-hour paradigm, and performance coaching.

Tickets are $45 and includes a light breakfast.
