College of Business professors comment on economic tough times

Grant, professor of finance and economics, studied public choice theory (the application of economic tools to problems of constitutional democracy) under Nobel-prize winning economist Dr. James Buchanan, at George Mason University.
Since then he has taught in South Africa, England, Morocco, United Arab Emirates, Kazakhstan and Papua New Guinea. He did consultant work for the South African stock exchange; is a past columnist for the Financial Mail, a weekly business magazine; and even ran for public office in Canada.
Ingram is a 35-year professor of economics and finance and chair of the department at Lipscomb. His doctorate is from West Virginia University.
