Cole to discuss 'Islam, Democracy and American Security: The Way Ahead'

The Lipscomb University Lifelong Learning Program will host “Islam, Democracy and American Security: The Way Ahead” Saturday, April 22 from 9 a.m.-noon in the Swang Center located on the campus, 3901 Granny White Pike, Nashville .

 

Don Cole, director of Lipscomb’s Center for International Peace and Justice, will lead the discussion of this timely topic. A retired Air Force officer, Cole’s last government post was as senior national security policy officer at the State Department. Before his assignment to the State Department, Cole was deputy political advisor to the commander in chief of the United States Command.
