The Lipscomb University A Cappella Singers and University Singers will host a choral reunion and alumni concert Saturday, April 15. Activities are planned throughout the day and will conclude with a concert at 4 p.m. in the auditorium of Granny White Church of Christ, located at 3805 Granny White Pike, Nashville.
The day will begin at 10 a.m. with a reunion reception in Swang 108, located on the Lipscomb campus, for all former members of
LipscombUniversity
’s A Cappella Singers, Chorale and University Singers. A catered lunch will be provided at noon in the Granny White Church of Christ Fellowship Hall. Lunch tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children. A rehearsal is planned for 1:30 p.m. in the Granny White auditorium for anyone wanting to participate in the alumni concert. The concert at 4 p.m. will feature a variety of musical selections. All activities are free except for the luncheon.
Dr. Larry Griffith, professor of music at Lipscomb, is the director for this concert. Griffith will retire this May after having directed the choral ensembles at Lipscomb for 29 years.
