A delegation of College of Business students took the Windy City by storm during spring break to showcase their skills and business acumen.
The 2026 American Marketing Association International Collegiate Conference (ICC) took place March 12–14 in Chicago, Illinois. It featured high-level marketing competitions, career networking and workshops for student members. More than 2,000 students representing hundreds of chapters from across the country attended the event, themed "Level Up" this year. It included the prestigious Case Competition, Design Lab and numerous other marketing challenges.
In the Perfect Pitch competition, students showcased their best selves in a quick, 90-second interview designed to highlight why they’re the right fit for the role. Lipscomb had five Perfect Pitch finalists, including Ramon Nunez Molina, Daniela Jarpa, Olivia Smith, Ella Crouch and Rowan Wahrenberger. This set a new Lipscomb student chapter program record. In addition, Wahrenberger received honorable mention honors and Crouch finished seventh out of 600 competitors.
The sales competition, 250 students competed head-to-head against fellow marketing students, putting their skills to the test as they demonstrated their ability to successfully close a sale. Jarpa was a finalist in the competition and finished in fourth place overall.
Davis Brown, instructor of marketing, is the team’s coach.
