Lipscomb's Be A Bison tour is an opportunity for students who have already applied to Lipscomb to deepen their connection to the university and reinforce their decision to join the Bison community. By meeting current students, faculty and alumni, in key cities across Tennessee and Kentucky, these students will gain firsthand insight into what makes Lipscomb a transformative and supportive place to pursue their academic and personal goals. The stops include Chattanooga, Knoxville and Memphis in Tennessee, and Louisville, Kentucky, with more details to be announced soon.

From entertainment and networking to church and school visits, food and more, each tour stop will offer admitted and prospective students and their families a chance to meet others from their city who are considering or attending Lipscomb.

“We’re excited to bring the Lipscomb story directly to students and their families,” said Lipscomb President Candice McQueen. “The Be A Bison tour is more than just an introduction to Lipscomb — it’s about building community, sharing the exciting opportunities we offer and helping students envision their future as part of the Bison Herd. We look forward to meeting students across Tennessee and Kentucky this spring.”

The Be A Bison tour is also designed to connect prospective students with Lipscomb faculty, staff, alumni and current students, giving them a taste of the vibrant community and opportunities available at the university. The tour focuses on increasing awareness about Lipscomb among prospective students and encouraging them to visit campus or apply. By highlighting Lipscomb’s outstanding academic programs, Christ-centered community and campus life, the tour underscores why Lipscomb is a top choice for students seeking to integrate faith and learning.

“Lipscomb is a place where our students have transformative experiences,” said Byron Lewis, vice president of enrollment management. “The Be A Bison tour lets us take that message directly to students and is a fun way for them to experience the Lipscomb community, learn about its nationally ranked programs and explore how the university is shaping lives of purpose.”

Lipscomb University continues to garner national attention for its academic excellence and student satisfaction.
