  • School of Music's A Cappella Singers begin annual tour

    Early in the morning of January 2, the Lipscomb University A Cappella Singers boarded the bus to begin their annual winter performance tour. The ensemble will travel from Tennessee, Georgia, and Alabama throughout the weekend, to be back in Nashville on January 6 for students to begin second semester classes the next day.

  • Patterson appointed to Tennessee PA licensing committee

    Marie Patterson, assistant professor of physician assistant studies, was appointed by the Tennessee governor in July to the Committee on Physician Assistants, which grants licenses to practice in Tennessee.

  • Eight new faculty join the college in 2018

    The College of Pharmacy & Health Science has welcomed eight new faculty members since August 2018.

  • School of Nursing launches spring admission

    The School of Nursing is offering potential students a spring entry into the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. The first spring cohort began in January 2019.

  • Environmental and sustainability science major combats food waste on campus

    Lipscomb University established a campus chapter of Save Our Supper, a national student organization, in fall 2015, and senior environmental and sustainability science major Courtney Christl ramped up the chapter’s activities and awareness campaigns this past school year.
