Please join us for the Wild Bison Festival (PROMO VIDEO LINK)! This festival is a multi-faceted day of creative celebration and strategic inspiration. With the example of co-founders, (and Lipscomb alums,) The Arcadian Wild ringing in our ears, hearts, and minds, we set our artistic gaze upon the horizon - driven by our desire to create with bold excellence, unencumbered by fear and unlimited by artificial fences of markets and genres.

The “main event” is held on October 4th, but The Wild Bison Festival is actually a year-long (and ongoing) project that aims to invest in Christian artists, songwriters, filmmakers, and other creatives who intend to impact mainstream culture with their work, and to expand the audience for that work. The day-long, multi-stage, multi-disciplinary festival is the culmination of that work.

Festival includes the following components:

  • A “Main Stage” on the grand steps of Lipscomb’s Collins Auditorium hosts the headlining artists right in the middle of “the square.” Booths and tables will be set up under the trees and along the pathways for sponsors, artists, and other vendors to sell their wares (among them will be student entrepreneurs).

  • Across the square, the “Flatt Amphitheater” serves as the “Side Stage” and offers a full slate of performances. As soon as a mainstage set finishes, the side stage set kicks off, providing non-stop music all day.

  • The pavilion will serve as a VIP area for artist meet and greets.

  • Inside the Student Center (immediately across the square from the main stage) a labyrinth of visual art exhibits line the path from the main doors back to the Shamblin Theater, which serves as the home for both the morning seminars and panel discussions and the afternoon film festival showcase.

  • Collins Auditorium will serve as an alternate venue in case of rain.

The Festival also will feature 15-20 artists who perform, 1 keynote speaker and several breakout speakers, 10-15 student short films (and a possible screening of a feature film).

Hope to see you there!!
