Longview Mansion
Join the Lifelong Learning program on Friday, April 17, at Longview Mansion for “Robert Neyland: The West Point Engineer Who Built Tennessee Football" with Dr. Tim Johnson. In 21 seasons as the University of Tennessee football coach, Robert Neyland won 173 games, seven conference titles and four national championships. During his tenure, the Volunteers were known for their discipline and tenacious defense, and Sports Illustrated named Neyland one of the greatest defensive minds of the 20th century. However, that was only half of his life story.
Cost is $45 per person and includes lunch. Registration is required by April 14. Free parking is available onsite.
