Eddie Sharp has been in ministry since 1971. He has served churches in Texas, New Mexico, and Nevada. He was the senior minister with the University Church of Christ in Abilene, TX for 28 years, recently retiring from full-time ministry after ten years with the University Avenue Church of Christ in Austin, TX. He received his DMin from Abilene Christian University in 1990 and taught Bible at the undergraduate level and church leadership at the graduate level at ACU. Over the years, his congregational ministry and service in police and fire chaplaincy gave him insight into crisis ministry, ministry to the sick and dying, and ministry through funerals and memorials. He has recently written Comfort When the Shadow Falls, a book on ministry to the dying and grieving.
The workshop is limited to 50 people so we may engage and learn around tables together.
