Presidential Scholars Day

Lipscomb University | Country Music Hall of Fame, Downtown Nashville
Presidential Scholars Day is open to academically high-achieving admitted students who receive the invitation. You will meet with current students and distinguished faculty as you learn about research opportunities, the Honors College and more! Then, you will attend a banquet dinner in your honor at the Country Music Hall of Fame, where you'll also receive a $1,500 Lipscomb study abroad voucher. Students eligible to attend will be able to register in their Bison Portal. Registration will open January 2027.
2027 Tentative Schedule
- 8:30 a.m. - Check-In (George Shinn Welcome Center)
- 9:00 a.m. - Presidential Welcome
- 9:30 a.m. - Student Social (student session)
- 9:30 a.m. - Parent Power Hour (parent session)
- 10:30 a.m. - Where Can I sessions (students pick 1)
- Where Can I Grow Abroad? (Global Learning & Missions)
- Where Can I Find My Calling? (Spiritual Formation & Center for Vocational Discovery)
- 11 a.m. - Lunch
- 12 p.m. Academic Program Spotlight
- 1:30 p.m. - Where Can I sessions (students pick 1)
- Where Can I Find Belonging? (Student & Community Life)
- Where Can I Excel Academically? (Honors College & Research)
- 2:30 p.m. - Resource Fair
- 4 p.m. - Break
- 5:30 p.m. - Load buses and depart for banquet dinner
- 6:30 p.m. - Banquet Dinner at the Country Music Hall of Fame
- 9 p.m. - Arrive back on campus
