SHORT-WINDED: DISCUSSING THE DIFFERENTIAL DIAGNOSIS OF SHORTNESS OF BREATH THROUGH THREE CLINICAL

Dr. Christian Matar grew up in Lexington, Kentucky, always knowing that he wanted to be a doctor. When he moved to Nashville to pursue a biology degree from Lipscomb University, he fell in love with Middle Tennessee and with his Nashville native wife, Rachel. Dr. Matar earned his medical degree from the University of Kentucky where he was privileged to learn from the compassion and excellence of several Med/Peds physicians. With that inspiration, he completed a combined residency in internal medicine and pediatrics (Med/Peds) at the University of Louisville, serving as chief resident during his final year of training. After completing residency, Dr. Matar joined Tennessee Medicine and Pediatrics, a group primary care practice of six Med/Peds physicians and continues to work there serving the communities of Smryna and Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Dr. Matar's hobbies include golf, Nashville Soccer Club, the British TV show Taskmaster and exploring the Nashville food scene with his wife.
