Join fellow Nutrition & Dietetics Alumni & Faculty on Oct. 13 at 5:30 p.m. in the James D. Hughes Center as we celebrate over half a century of our department! Please join us for a meal, tour of the Foods Lab and Simulation Lab, and reconnect with your Lipscomb classmates.
Whether you are coming to Nashville for FNCE or have stayed in the area after graduating, this reunion is an opportunity to reconnect and celebrate Nancy Hunt’s 40th year teaching at Lipscomb!
Things look a bit different for our Lipscomb students today as the journey of Nutrition & Dietetics started in Family Consumer Sciences with a dietetics concentration, moved through a decade housed in the College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences, and is now thriving in the newly formed College of Health Sciences. The internship program has grown and is now combined with a Master of Science in nutrition. The program also offers additional concentrations beyond medical nutrition therapy in health promotion and wellness as well as sports nutrition.
We look forward to seeing you and discovering the impact you are making in the lives of others across the nation. It is exciting to know so many of our graduates give back to the profession and their individual communities in service through a variety of ways. We are especially grateful to those serving as our very own preceptors!
