The Lipscomb University Alumni & Friends Travel Program invites you to escape to New England’s most captivating coastline on this unforgettable seven-day journey through historic Boston and enchanting coastal Maine. Your adventure begins and ends in Boston, where you’ll explore iconic landmarks steeped in American history before embarking northward.
After flying into Boston, travel in comfort aboard a deluxe motorcoach up the New England coastline to Portsmouth, New Hampshire, and Portland, Maine’s vibrant coastal gem. Set sail on a spectacular bay cruise, where majestic lighthouses stand sentinel over rocky shores, historic forts whisper tales of the past, and working lobster boats dot the harbor.
Explore picturesque Kennebunkport with its magnificent old captain’s homes and view Walker’s Point, the longtime summer retreat of George H.W. Bush and family; discover artistic Ogunquit and the quaint shops of Perkins Cove, and embrace authentic maritime culture as you board a working lobster boat for a harbor ride. Enjoy a traditional lobster clambake and delicious Maine lobster. Explore the magnificent Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens—New England’s largest—featuring breathtaking waterfront landscapes, vibrant blooms and serene woodland trails.
This carefully curated excursion combines rich history, natural splendor, and genuine New England hospitality. From Boston’s cobblestone streets to Maine’s rugged coastline, every moment promises discovery and delight.
COST: $4,349 per person, double occupancy; $5,599 for single occupancy. Limited to 35 people. The deadline is May 11, 2026, for registration and deposit of $400 per person. Balance will be due June 26, 2026.
