Speaker: Dr. Jodi Magness

Dr. Magness is a world-renowned Classical and Biblical archaeologist specializing in ancient

Palestine from the time of Jesus up to the tenth century. She has participated in over twenty excavations in Israel and Greece, including co-directing the 1995 excavations at Masada and directing the excavations at Huqoq. She has published multiple books and articles and currently serves as the Kenan Distinguished Professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
