Giving Day provides donors with the opportunity to give specifically to a program or project of interest to them, and across the board from academic colleges to Athletics, from missions teams to the Honors College, every department reaps rewards in donations throughout the day.

Funds raised benefit a wealth of specific programs from student scholarships to a new AI lab, from specific athletics teams, the cheerleaders and the Lippy Lunatics fan group to medical, business and engineering missions or the Lanier Center for Archeology.

With volunteer Giving Day Ambassadors stoking the fires of generosity, various donation matches are awarded on Giving Day. In 2025, Giving Day drew 928 alumni (who raised almost $500,000 as a group), 424 faculty and staff, 374 parents and 304 students to contribute to Lipscomb’s future.
