Welcome Campers to the Summer 2023 Character Drawing Boot Camp led by Disney Clean-up Artist Diana Coco-Russell.
Everyday we will have demos, drawing from life, drawing from reference, and daily project challenges. Both traditional and digital tools will be explained and used. There will be options for campers to stay with all traditional tools or do a hybrid version, using both digital and traditional tools. All of the art projects/challenges will have two levels of difficulty so concepts can be explored successfully by those with basic skills and also provide greater complexity for the more advanced artist.
Our first day is a general art instruction day followed by 3 days of step-by-step art instruction creating the following characters in a variety of design styles: a teen/child character, an animal character and a superhero/heroine.
