College of Health and Human Sciences Missions

Making a difference locally and globally.

The Lipscomb University College of Health and Human Sciences Medical Missions Program is dedicated to fostering Christ-centered, sustainable, and ethical medical mission experiences through college-supported trips, both international and domestic, that align with our Christian values and promote respectful, impactful service.

Objectives:

  • Foster holistic medical missions by building relationships and trust with host communities to promote collaboration and sustainable partnerships.
  • Serve with local and international clinics to implement healthcare initiatives that prioritize long-term community health and empowerment.
  • Equip faculty and students for ethical and culturally respectful service in diverse communities through a faith-informed perspective.
  • Offer cultural and spiritual mentorship to provide students the foundation to work in the humanitarian field during and after college.
